Kids Community Dance Classes at the Memo!

Join Alis who founded Celf Dawnsio Gwenyn in 2024 with the goal to provide everyone within her local community with the opportunity to experience the joy and fulfilment of movement and the arts, regardless of age or ability

She has created 2 dance programmes for Newbridge memo, one for children aged 2-5 years old and another for children aged 6-10.

The 2-5 year old session will run at 3:45pm on Thursday and will focus on different themes each term throughout the year, giving the children an opportunity to explore movement in a way that feels good and fun for them! Children are required to be accompanied by an adult if under 4 years old. The theme for 14th Nov - 19th Dec is Under The Sea!

The session for children aged 6-10 will run on Thursday from 4:45pm and will focus on a different genre of dance each term throughout the year, giving the children the opportunity to explore different genres of dance such as street, contemporary, ballet and world dance. The genre for the 14th Nov - 19th Dec is HipHop/Street Dance!

Both sessions will have a small presentation in their last session for parents and guardians to see all of the hard work their children have put into the dance classes.
